BE STILL Intentionally
GOAL: Take time to spend quiet, focused and undistracted personal time each day.
We were made by God and for God and until we find a deep and fulfilling relationship with our Creator (our Source) we will always feel “off” and unfulfilled and look for other ways to “fill” that void. God our Creator is our starting point, our plumb line for EACH DAY. How can we “know” Him and get to know and trust Him if we don’t spend time with Him? What a great time of year to get to “KNOW” Jesus in a fresh way!IDEAS:
- Read all four gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) – 2-3 chapters a day
- Read a Psalm, Proverb and Gospel passage per day.
- Other Ideas: Pray, Read Bible, Bible study, daily devotional, scripture memorization, read a chapter a day, listen to music, JUST BE… be still – Psalm 46:10 – “Be still and know that I am God…..”
