If you knew you had a treasure, worth enough to radically change every facet your life, buried deep in your front yard what would you do?
Would you say:
I just don’t have time right to do all that digging right now.
It’s going to take way to much time and the work is going to be way to hard.
I may get to it later when I’m not so busy. When I can find the time.
I don’t think that would be our response. I believe we would stop everything else, rent digging equipment and tear up the whole front yard until we found that treasure!
Jesus is the treasure that radically changes our life!
He gives us a new perspective! He takes the pressure to perform!
Start digging now! What are you waiting for?
It will not happen by accident!
Yes it takes time but the pay off is worth more than anything this world has to offer!
Proverbs 2:1-5
My son, if you receive my words
and treasure up my commandments with you,
making your ear attentive to wisdom
and inclining your heart to understanding;
yes, if you call out for insight
and raise your voice for understanding,
if you seek it like silver
and search for it as for hidden treasures,
then you will understand the fear of the LORD
and find the knowledge of God.
